Anti-Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign
The Anti-Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign, held on November 8, 2024, at Kundarapalli Weekly Market in Krishnagiri, was a resounding success. Over 150 participants, including students, local residents, and police personnel, gathered to support the cause. The event began with a welcome address by M. Santhosh Kumar, Coordinator of the Anti-Drug Club, setting the tone for an impactful morning. Dr. S. Dhanapal Principal then delivered a special address, emphasizing the importance of collective action in combating drug abuse.These esteemed individuals shared valuable insights and expertise, contributing to the campaign's success.
An Awareness Programme onThe Effect of Substance Abuse on Mental Health
The Anti-Drug Club of Arignar Anna College (Arts and Science), Krishnagiri, successfully organized an awareness program on "The Effect of Substance Abuse on Mental Health" on October 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the college auditorium. M. Santhosh Kumar, Coordinator of the Anti-Drug Club and Assistant Professor of Chemistry, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the event. R. Sivakumar, Head and Assistant Professor of Chemistry, served as the chief guest and delivered a thought-provoking address highlighting the devastating consequences of substance abuse on mental health. Dr. S. Dhanapal, Principal of Arignar Anna College, graced the occasion as the special guest and emphasized the importance of prioritizing mental health and wellness.
