DEPARTMENT OF TAMIL

        The Department of Tamil was established in 2015 PG The establishment of the UG And M.Phil programme in Tamil in 2016 marks a significant milestone in the department's academic growth. The department takes pride in having five recognized guides under whom 23 candidates are pursuing their Ph.D. degrees in Tamil literary genres. To date, one candidates have been awarded doctoral degrees, while two scholars continue their research.
