DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS
The Department of Physics was UG (B.Sc) Initiated in 2006 to stimulate curiosity, involvement and enjoyment in Physics among the rural students. Post Graduation Program was started in the year 2014 and the very next year Research Program M.Phil was brought to fulfill the research attitude of students scholar. It is also a proud movement that we cater Doctorate Program through Periyar University. The faculty members are very active in reaching out to students imparting various effective methods of teaching skills and also well involved in research works like publishing articles in highly reputed journals and doing projects under various funded schemes. A well-equipped and spacious laboratory is provided to instill interest to know how the physical world works and inspire students to explore creatively hypothesis through experimentation.
