HISTORY
Department of Social Work was established in the year 2014. The Department offers a Post Graduate Degree in Social Work with a Specialization in Human Resource (HR), Medical & Psychiatric (MP) and Community Development (CD). The Course consists of theory inputs, Observation visits, Rural camp, Concurrent field work and Block placements. The department also encourages the students to attend the additional Certificate courses organized by the Central & State Governments. The students actively participate in various seminars, workshops and National/International conferences. The Department offers the value-added course to the benefit of students’ knowledge in their field.
