ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Department of Mathematics was established in 2006 and has the distinction of being the first self-financing college affiliated with Periyar University to provide the B.Sc., Mathematics Programme. In 2011, the Department became a Post Graduate Department by offering the M.Sc., Mathematics Programme, and in 2013, the M.Phil programme was added. The department has the distinction of generating 4 UG rank holders, 3 PG rank holders, and 6 M.Phil rank holders. The department features highly qualified professors that are actively involved in teaching and research.
