DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE
The Department of Commerce and Commerce with Computer Applications was established in 2006 as the First Self-Financing College Affiliated to the Periyar University to introduce the B.Com & B.Com (CA) programme. In 2013, the Department upgraded to a Post Graduate department by introducing the M.Com Programme and in 2015 the M.Phil programme was introduced. At present the Department has 604 Under Graduate students and 72 Post Graduate students with 17 qualified faculty members devoted in enriching the knowledge and wisdom of the students. The Department caters to the academic needs of the students perusing professional courses like CA, CS, CMA, and these aspiring to secure high profile job, of become successful Entrepreneurship.
