DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

   The Department of Chemistry was started in the year 2006. The Department of Chemistry has been one of the most significant and well known Departments in the college with a committed group of capable faculty members. The department is highlighted with a well-equipped laboratory along with an instrumentation laboratory that houses modern instruments.

   The department also organises industry tours every year mainly to CLRI (CSIR) institutions in Chennai and IISC Bangalore. The department has introduced value added courses to the students to improve their additional skills. The department conducts seminars, workshops to foster the students' creative abilities. The department has produced prominent graduates who have excelled in various professional spheres.
