About YRC:

    Youth Red Cross of Arignar Anna College (Arts & Science) was started on the year 2006, at present more than 250 volunteers are actively involving in Social activities.

Objective:

    To encourage the students to extend their humanitarian services to the society And Awareness on the care of their own health and that of others. The understanding and acceptance of civic responsibilities and acting accordingly with humanitarian concern, to fulfill the same.

BOARD OBJECTIVES

1. YRC Orientation Programme.
2. Blood Donation Camp.
3. Tree Plantation.
4. Road Safety Awareness Programme.
5. International Drug Abuse day Rally and awareness Program.
6. AIDS Awareness Programme.
7. Practice of Health habits.
8. First aid training Program.
9. Cleanliness of college premises, their own places and outside.
10. Observance of World Health Day, Blood Donation Day, World Red Cross Day etc., as would be instructed by the YRC Head quarters.
